Trevor Stewart (SR, Highlands Ranch, Colo./Eastmont HS) scored his third goal on the nonconference weekend, the only tally on Saturday for the Augsburg College men's hockey team in a 1-0 victory over the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• After a scoreless first period, Stewart gave the Auggies the lead with his fourth goal of the season, scoring from
Drew Anderson (JR, Rochester, Minn./Century HS) and
Rory Vesel (SR, Rochester, Minn./Lourdes HS) at the 3:12 mark of the second period.

Nick Schmit (SO, Fargo, N.D./Fargo North HS), a transfer from Wisconsin-Stout making his third start as an Auggie in goal, stopped all 24 shots he faced to pick up the shutout win, the first of his collegiate career.
• Augsburg, ranked No. 11 in the latest U.S. College Hockey Online Division III national poll, outshot UW-Falls by a 27-24 margin in the game.

Max Pernhem (JR, Stockholm, Sweden/Dragonskolan) had five shots on-goal for the Auggies, while
Nate Flynn (JR, Hastings, Minn.) had four shots and
Eli May (JR, Eagan, Minn.) had three shots.
