MINNEAPOLIS --
Tamira McLemore (FY, Eagan, Minn.) scored 18 points, hitting 9-of-10 from the free-throw line, as her Augsburg College women's basketball team rallied in the second half for a 76-68 nonconference victory over the University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Saturday afternoon at Si Melby Hall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Trailing 33-31 at halftime, the Auggies used a 15-5 run to take a 46-38 lead halfway through the third quarter, eventually expanding the lead to 10 points in the final minute of the frame. The Falcons rallied to tie the game at 60-60 halfway through the fourth quarter and at 65-65 with 2:46 left to play, but the Auggies pulled away in the closing minutes, with an 11-3 run -- connecting on 9-of-10 free throws and a field goal -- to secure the victory.
• As a team, Augsburg connected on 25-of-35 from the charity stripe in the game -- 13-of-14 in the fourth quarter. UW-River Falls hit on 16-of-25 from the free-throw line.
• McLemore scored 18 points for her ninth double-digit scoring game in her 11 starts this season. She added five rebounds, three assists, a steal and a blocked shot.

K'Aezha Wubben (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Hopkins HS) scored 17 points, going 5-for-6 from the charity stripe, while adding five rebounds and three steals.

Abby Jordan (FY, Rogers, Minn.) connected on 4-of-5 from three-point range for a 12-point afternoon, her fifth game with three or more three-pointers this season. Jordan and teammate
Aiza Wilson (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) have 29 three-pointers each this season, tied for the most
among Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference players in overall statistics.
• Wilson and
Arianna Jones (FY, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo HS) had eight points each, with Wilson adding five rebounds and two steals, and Jones contributing five assists.
• Augsburg took advantage of 20 UW-River Falls turnovers, scoring 25 points off the miscues while recording 13 steals. Meanwhile, the Falcons scored 17 points off of 10 Augsburg turnovers.
• Augsburg's bench outscored UW-River Falls' bench by a 26-14 margin.
FOR THE FOES
• UW-River Falls was paced by Taylor Paulsrud, who scored 15 points with two assists and two steals.
• Kate Theisen scored 12 points with eight rebounds, while Hannah Pignato scored 12 points with five assists and four rebounds.
