MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg College women's soccer team extended its winning streak to five games with a dominating performance in a 6-1 nonconference win over Bethany Lutheran College on Wednesday afternoon at Edor Nelson Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Kaitlyn Terrio (SR, Andover, Minn./Anoka HS) scored two goals in a 2:53 span midway through the first half -- the final two goals in a four-goal Auggie outburst in an 8:18 span that broke the game open. She put home a shot off a long run by
Olivia House (FY, Richfield, Minn.), who was fed by
Jessy Wiskofske (SO, Wausau, Wis./Wausau West HS). Wiskofske also assisted on Terrio's second goal, a header in a scramble off a corner kick by
Morgan Kenny (SR, Brookfield, Wis./Brookfield Central HS).

Marta Anderson (SR, Mankato, Minn./Mankato East HS) opened the scoring with an unassisted goal at the 21:38 mark, scoring off a clearing attempt by a Bethany Lutheran defender.

Ashley St. Aubin (FY, Burnsville, Minn.) gave the Auggies a 2-0 lead 54 seconds after Anderson's goal, taking a feed from Anderson and putting it home.
• The Auggies scored on a Bethany Lutheran "own goal" at the 40:29 mark, and took a 6-0 lead two minutes later, when House scored after stealing a Viking pass and depositing it into the net.
• Augsburg outshot Bethany Lutheran by a 22-6 margin, including a 16-1 advantage in the first half. Augsburg also had 10 corner kicks to the Vikings' two.
• St. Aubin and Wiskofske had four shots each for the Auggies, while Anderson had three shots.Â
• Augsburg's two goalkeepers again split time in net.
Marissa Guillou (JR, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) played the first half with one save, and
Emily Chapman (FY, Elburn, Ill./Kaneland HS) played the second half with three saves.

• St. Aubin leads the MIAC's overall statistics in all three scoring categories -- goals (six), assists (tied with four) and total points (16).
FOR THE FOES
• Rachel Bitter scored for Bethany Lutheran at the 52:29 mark, with a rising shot to the top right corner of the net from 25 yards out. Nicole Moldstad assisted on the goal.
• Emma Matter had four saves in goal in the first half, and Averi Cash had one save in the second half.
