MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg College women's soccer team extended its winning streak to five games with a dominating performance in a 6-1 nonconference win over Bethany Lutheran College on Wednesday afternoon at Edor Nelson Field.

THE BASICS
FINAL SCORE: Augsburg 6, Bethany Lutheran 1
LOCATION: Edor Nelson Field, Minneapolis
RECORDS: Augsburg 5-1-0 overall, Bethany Lutheran 2-3-1 overall

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Kaitlyn Terrio (SR, Andover, Minn./Anoka HS) scored two goals in a 2:53 span midway through the first half -- the final two goals in a four-goal Auggie outburst in an 8:18 span that broke the game open. She put home a shot off a long run by Olivia House (FY, Richfield, Minn.), who was fed by Jessy Wiskofske (SO, Wausau, Wis./Wausau West HS). Wiskofske also assisted on Terrio's second goal, a header in a scramble off a corner kick by Morgan Kenny (SR, Brookfield, Wis./Brookfield Central HS).
• Marta Anderson (SR, Mankato, Minn./Mankato East HS) opened the scoring with an unassisted goal at the 21:38 mark, scoring off a clearing attempt by a Bethany Lutheran defender.
• Ashley St. Aubin (FY, Burnsville, Minn.) gave the Auggies a 2-0 lead 54 seconds after Anderson's goal, taking a feed from Anderson and putting it home.
• The Auggies scored on a Bethany Lutheran "own goal" at the 40:29 mark, and took a 6-0 lead two minutes later, when House scored after stealing a Viking pass and depositing it into the net.
• Augsburg outshot Bethany Lutheran by a 22-6 margin, including a 16-1 advantage in the first half. Augsburg also had 10 corner kicks to the Vikings' two.
• St. Aubin and Wiskofske had four shots each for the Auggies, while Anderson had three shots.
• Augsburg's two goalkeepers again split time in net. Marissa Guillou (JR, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) played the first half with one save, and Emily Chapman (FY, Elburn, Ill./Kaneland HS) played the second half with three saves.

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• Augsburg has now outscored its opponents by a 23-2 margin, leading the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference overall statistics in both total goals and goal differential.
• St. Aubin leads the MIAC's overall statistics in all three scoring categories -- goals (six), assists (tied with four) and total points (16).
