MINNEAPOLIS -- Behind a season-best 31 points from
Tamira McLemore (FY, Eagan, Minn.), the Augsburg College women's basketball team scored a 76-64 win over Macalester College in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest on Wednesday evening at Si Melby Hall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• McLemore scored 14 points in the fourth quarter on 4-of-6 shooting from the field and 4-of-5 from the free-throw line, as Augsburg outscored Macalester 27-18 in the frame to secure the victory, snapping a four-game losing streak. McLemore pulled down five rebounds, added four assists and two assists in the game as well.

Hannah Steinhaus (JR, Waterville, Minn./Waterville-Elysian-Morristown HS) scored 10 of her 13 points in the fourth quarter, hitting 4-of-5 from the field and 2-of-3 from the free-throw line. She also had two of her five rebounds in the final frame.
• Leading 55-54 with 7:50 left in the fourth quarter, Augsburg used an 11-2 run over the next 4:23 to take a 10-point, 66-56 advantage with 3:27 left. The lead did not dip below six points the rest of the way.

K'Aezha Wubben (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Hopkins HS) scored 15 points with three rebounds, two assists and two steals. She hit on 7-of-8 from the free-throw line.

Bridget Bednar (JR, Pierz, Minn.) pulled down a team-best nine rebounds, while scoring two points.

Arianna Jones (FY, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo HS) had a team-best five assists, and
Abby Jordan (FY, Rogers, Minn.) scored six points.
• Augsburg took advantage of 22 Macalester turnovers, converting them into 21 points.
• Macalester outrebounded Augsburg by a 45-42 margin.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• McLemore's 31 points is the 10th 30-plus-point game in Augsburg women's basketball history, and first since
Jessica Lillquist scored 31 points in a game against St. Catherine on Feb. 7, 2015. McLemore's 12 field goals made are tied for the eighth-most in a single game in school history.
FOR THE FOES
• Regan Fruh scored 10 points with 11 rebounds and two assists to lead Macalester, while Lauren Clamage scored 14 points.
• Vivi Gregorich scored 12 points with five assists, six rebounds and two steals. Leah Gray had three blocked shots for the Scots.
