QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH GREG HOLKER
• "We gave away two cheap goals to start off, and from there it was always going to be uphill. Their third goal was on another set piece we didn't look too interested in winning, and they just out-battled us in that and several other moments."
• "We created a few really good chances in the first half, and had some moments that looked really good. In the second half, the game was played at midfield or in their half, but without any really threatening chances. We had a bunch of corner kicks, but getting through those guys with our team size was an unlikely route."
• "St. Thomas and Macalester have created a little gap now, and the rest of us are all in a bunch for the remaining playoff spots. We have to take the things Macalester did well, learn from that and apply to our own team -- and continue to stay the course with how we play. We keep learning and getting better each day. Sometimes the results are lopsided like this one, but we got a lot out of this game."
