MINNEAPOLIS -- A goal off a corner kick with 11 seconds left in the first half gave St. Olaf College a 1-0 win over host Augsburg University in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer game, the final game of the season for both teams, on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg was outshot by a 17-10 margin in the contest, but had one shot hit the crossbar early in the contest, and another hit the goalpost in the second half. The Auggies had three shots on-goal in the game, all by
Lionel Vang (SO, Little Canada, Minn./Roseville HS).

Thomas Molski (SR, Woodbury, Minn./North St. Paul HS) helped to keep the Auggies in the contest, collecting 10 saves in goal.

Luke Falk (JR, Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha West HS) had three shots.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• Augsburg entered Saturday's play with a chance to repeat a bid to the six-team MIAC postseason playoffs, but Saint John's scored a 1-0 win over Carleton earlier in the day, clinching the final playoff spot.
• The game was the final contest for four Augsburg seniors -- Molski,
Emmanuel Egbujor (SR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Champlin Park HS), Michel Jakoitz (SR, Minnetonka, Minn./Hopkins HS),
