RIVER FALLS, Wis. -- For the third time in its four games this season, the Augsburg University men's hockey team had to rally from a deficit to remain unbeaten, scoring twice in the third period to produce a 3-2 nonconference win over the host University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Trailing 2-1 entering the third period, Augsburg tied the game at the 8:24 mark, as Jason Krych (SO, Champlin, Minn./Totino-Grace HS) scored a power-play goal -- Augsburg's first in 17 power-play opportunities this season -- from Alex Rodriguez (JR, Miami, Fla./Shattuck-St. Mary's (Minn.) HS) and Chandler Madry (JR, Bakersfield, Calif./Fairbanks (Alaska) BEST HS).
• With one minute remaining in regulation time, Gunnar Goodmanson (FY, Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo HS) scored his first collegiate goal, assisted by Lukas Gillett (JR, Rosemount, Minn./Rosemount HS), to give the Auggies the lead for the first time in the game.Â
• Jake Larson (JR, St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville HS), a transfer from St. Norbert (Wis.), scored his first goal as an Auggie at the 9:36 mark of the first period, assisted by Madry and Rodriguez.
• Augsburg claimed a 35-18 advantage in shots on-goal, including a 27-12 advantage in the final two periods. Rodriguez had seven shots on-goal in the game, while Eric Brenk (JR, Moorhead, Minn./Moorhead HS) had five shots.
• Nick Schmit (JR, Fargo, N.D./Fargo North HS) had 16 saves in goal for Augsburg to remain unbeaten on the year in his fourth start.
