QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH GREG HOLKER
• "We had several clear cut chances to score in this game, and we failed to take them. Their GK was solid, but it's on us in those critical moments to deliver goals. We pride ourselves on our ability to problem-solve and today, we were unable to solve the questions Saint John's asked of us."
• "We gave up a goal in overtime from a set piece. The goal itself was pretty fortuitous, but if we are going to continue to commit silly fouls and not adjust our defending, then we are going to eventually pay a price."
• "Certainly the tone here is one of disappointment, but we quickly have to forget that as we host a very good Gustavus side on Saturday."
UP NEXT
• Augsburg hosts Gustavus on Saturday (9/30) at 5 p.m. at Edor Nelson Field.
