QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG COACH MIKE NAVARRE
• "First, congratulations to St. Thomas. To win both the league and playoff titles is impressive. They have a skilled and experienced team, and will represent the MIAC well in the national tournament."
• "Regarding our season: I'm very proud of what we have accomplished this year. We went through a lot as a program in the past year. At one point, we were 4-5 in September. After that, St. Thomas was the only team to beat us. To get to the playoff championship game is a testament to the overall strength and resilience of our program. I'm particularly proud of our seniors: Nora, Jessy, Kealie, and Kate. We simply do not have the success we had this year without their sacrifice and contributions."Â
• "Hopefully, we get an at-large bid. We need things to fall our way. I have no doubt that we can do well in the NCAA Tournament. Hopefully, we get the opportunity."
