MINNEAPOLIS --
Jordan DeCroock (SR, Farmington, Minn./Farmington HS) was hit by a pitch three times and scored four runs in the first game, then had two hits and two runs scored in the second game, in the Augsburg University baseball team's doubleheader with the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Thursday at U.S. Bank Stadium. Augsburg claimed an 11-2 win in the first game, and the second game was halted in the bottom of the sixth inning with the Yellowjackets leading 12-6, and will be resumed at a later date.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
• Augsburg scored in every inning but the sixth to claim the first-game win over the Yellowjackets, with DeCroock scoring following all but one of his five plate apearances in the game. He had a single in the first inning, then was hit by pitches in the second, fourth and fifth innings. He also had two stolen bases -- two of the six Augsburg had in the game.

Mike Brookshaw (JR, Prescott, Wis./Prescott HS) went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two driven in. He hit an RBI double in the second inning and hit an RBI single in the fifth.

Cam Erikson (SR, Albuquerque, N.M./La Cueva HS) drove in three runs in the game, with a bases-loaded walk in the first and a two-run single in the fourth.

Zach Bakko (SR, Northfield, Minn./Northfield HS) hit a run-scoring triple in the fifth inning and scored two runs.

Keane Turner (Sr, Clinton, Minn./Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley HS) hit a run-scoring double and
Clayton Bodine (JR, Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata HS) hit a run-scoring single in the fourth, and
Walker Rogers (SO, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley HS) drove in a run on an RBI fielder's choice in the fifth. Bodine had two hits and Turner scored twice in the game.

Jacob Kari (SR, North Branch, Minn./North Branch HS) pitched his first complete game of the season, striking out seven while not walking a batter and allowing nine hits in the game. Neither of the two runs charged to Kari were earned.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS (GAME 2 PARTIAL BOXSCORE)
• Augsburg jumped out to a 5-0 lead after three-and-a-half innings, but allowed four UW-Superior runs in the bottom of the fourth and eight runs in the bottom of the sixth before the game was halted at 12:10 p.m., due to the doubleheader time limit at U.S. Bank Stadium. The game must be completed at a later date in order for it to be an official contest, according to NCAA rules. Statistics from the game will not be included in season stats until the game is completed.
• DeCroock led off the game with a double to left-center, then scored on Bakko's second triple of the day. In the third, DeCroock singled, moved to third on a single by Bakko, and scored on a wild pitch.
• Nine batters came to the plate in the fourth inning for the Auggies, with two runs coming across on bases-loaded walks and another scoring on a single by Brookshaw.

Jamie Kaye (JR, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) retired the first nine batters he faced in order, but surrendered his first hit to the leadoff batter in the fourth inning. The Yellowjackets scored four runs in the fourth off of Kaye, then scored eight runs of of relievers
Dayton Danielson (SO, St. Charles, Minn./St. Charles HS) and
Ryan Kain (SR, Gurnee, Ill./Warren Township HS). Kaye had two strikeouts in the game.
FOR THE FOES
• Matt Boyde went 2-for-3 at the plate in the first game, scoring a run, while Nick McNosky went 2-for-2 with a run scored.
• Braeden Barr hit a two-run single, followed by a two-run home run by Matt Boyde, in the fourth inning.
• Barr and Greg Pitts hit RBI doubles in the sixth, along with a two-run single by Brandon Rolf and run-scoring singles by Boyde, Cory Albertson and Jason Steinke.
