HYLAND GREENS COURSE MAP

The 2018 Augsburg University Cross Country Invitational will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15 at the Hyland Greens Golf and Learning Center in Bloomington, Minn.

RACE TIMES:
Women's 6K -- 9:30 a.m.
Men's 8K -- 10:30 a.m.

ENTRIES: Each team is allowed unlimited entries.

Entries are due by Tuesday, September 11, at 12 p.m. Central time.
Unattached or open athletes will also register on Wayzata Results.

ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is $150 per team, $300 for both men and women. Please make checks payable to: Augsburg University Cross Country. Unattached athlete entry fee is $15.00. PACKET PICK-UP: Available starting at 7 a.m. at Hyland Greens Clubhouse.

RESULTS/LIVE STATISTICS: Wayzata Results will be providing live statistics (click on this link). Final results will also be posted on the same link.

AWARDS: Awards will be presented to the top 10 athletes in each event and will take place at 11:30 a.m. outside the clubhouse.

COURSE (Click here for course map): The course is mixture of gradual rolling hills and flat golf course. The men's race will consist of a 2K loop (marked in red on map) and two 3K loops (marked in black), and the women's race will consist of two 3K loops (marked in black). There is only one cart path that the athletes will cross twice. Spikes are recommended. Kilometer markers will be provided and split mats will also be used (exact locations TBD).

On the map, the women's 1k, 2k, and 3k are marked. These also serve as the 4k, 5k, and 6k respectively. For the men's race, the 2k loop will be run first, followed by the two 3K loops.

COURSE OPEN TIMES: The course will be open for running starting on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 7 a.m. No dogs, unless a service dog, on the course.

SPORTS MEDICINE: There will be athletic trainers available at the race site. They will be available with ice, general taping, etc and for any emergencies. EMTs will also be on site. There will also be water available for athletes.

DRESSING: There are no dressing or shower facilities at the golf course.

WEATHER: The MIAC's stipulated weather policies and procedures (click here) will be followed.

TEAM PARKING: Team vans are allowed to park in the Hyland Greens Golf Course Parking lot. Please note, that this parking lot will be closed to teams only. Team buses will be allowed to park along 102nd St. and Nesbitt Ave. The city of Bloomington has issued us a parking permit to park. Please advise your bus drivers that the "No Parking" signs will not be enforced. PLEASE SEE MAP.

SPECTATOR PARKING: There will be parking available at Normandale Hylands United Methodist Church and at Park Nicolette Clinic located at the northeast corner of the golf course (PLEASE SEE MAP). Free shuttles will run between the church parking lot and golf course entrance every 15 minutes. PLEASE advise all parents/fans NOT to park in the Tarnhill Apartments/Summerhill Apartments across the street. This is private parking and their vehicles will be towed.

RESTROOMS: There will be portable toilets located in the parking lot of the golf course, about 100 meters from the start/finish line.

ADMISSION: Spectator admission to the event will be $5.00. Children under the age of 5 are free.

CONCESSIONS: Concessions will be available outside the clubhouse.
