MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The Augsburg University women's basketball team used all 15 players in a dominant 69-45 win over Concordia Moorhead in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Auditorium. With the win, Augsburg set the school record for program wins in a single season (16) and is off to its best overall season in program history.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Auggies led 30-18 at the half and used a huge third quarter to put the game out of reach. In the third, Augsburg outscored Concordia 30-10 and would lead by as many as 34 in the frame before cruising on to the 69-45 victory.

Tamira McLemore (JR, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) who scored a game-high 22 points, while adding four rebounds and four steals. McLemore was 4-of-8 from three-point range and 8-for-15 from the floor in just 22 minutes of action.

Jazmyn Solseth (SO, Inver Grove Heights/St Croix Lutheran HS) scored in double figures for the fourth time this season, finishing with 13 points, shooting 6-for-10 from the field, while adding three assists and three rebounds.

Camryn Speese (JR, Bloomington, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) managed to shoot 5-of-8 from the field, scoring 11 points, while puling down a team-best five rebounds.
Aiza Wilson (JR, Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) added six points, connecting on a perfect 2-of-2 from beyond the arc.
• For the game, Augsburg shot 42.6 percent (29-of-68) from the field, while the Cobbers were held to 32.6 percent (14-of-43) shooting from the floor. Concordia posted a 39-38 advantage on the boards, however Augsburg recorded an 18-7 advantage in second chance points and a 40-16 advantage in point in the paint. The Auggie defense forced 19 Cobber turnovers, while only committing nine.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• With the victory, Augsburg surpassed its single-season school record for wins with 16, besting the previous mark of 15, a feat achieved twice before in the varsity history (since 1972-73) of the program -- in 2014-15 (15-12) and 2016-17 (15-11). Augsburg has six games remaining in the 2018-19 regular season.
• At 11-1 in MIAC play, Augsburg has tied its best-ever MIAC record of 11 wins, achieved three times -- 1983-84 (11-9), 1984-85 (11-9) and 2011-12 (11-11).
• Augsburg's McLemore is nearing an elite group of student-athletes, as she now has 988 career points. Only six players in Augsburg women's basketball history have scored more than 1,000 point in their career.

• Concordia was led offensively by Mary Sem, who finished with 11 points, while adding five rebounds.
• Autumn Thompson added eight points and two rebounds for the Cobbers.
