BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• Becker reached the 200-win plateau in her 10th season as Augsburg's head coach. She is now 200-93 at Augsburg, and including the first three seasons of her career at Luther (Iowa), she is now 260-135 as a collegiate head coach.Â
• Becker is just the second Augsburg coach to reach the 200-win mark in the 48-season history of Augsburg volleyball, joining Marilyn Pearson Florian '76, who had 271 victories from 1981 to 1998 (271-373 record).
• Evans is now one block away from tying Augsburg's career record for total blocks, 329, set by Colleen (Ourada) Enrico '14. Evans now has 328 total blocks (47 solo, school-record 281 block assists) in her three seasons at Augsburg.
Evans ranks second among MIAC players with a 1.24 blocks per-set average.
• With the win, Augsburg clinched a top-four finish in the MIAC standings, which means at least a home first-round playoff game next Tuesday (11/5) at 7 p.m. St. Thomas clinched the MIAC regular-season title with a win over Saint Benedict on Wednesday.
• Should the Auggies beat St. Thomas in the teams' regular-season finale this Saturday (11/2), they would clinch the No. 2 seed in the MIAC playoffs and receive a first-round bye to host a semifinal game next Thursday (11/7) at 7 p.m. Should the Auggies lose to the Tommies and either Saint Benedict or St. Olaf (but not both) win their regular-season finales, the Auggies would be the No. 3 seed, and if the Auggies lose and both Saint Benedict and St. Olaf win, the Auggies would be the No. 4 seed. St. Olaf hosts Carleton on Friday (11/1), while Saint Benedict hosts Concordia-Moorhead on Saturday.
