MINNEAPOLIS -- The No. 23-ranked Augsburg University women's basketball team scored a program-record 101 points in a 101-48 nonconference victory over the College of St. Scholastica on Tuesday evening at Si Melby Hall. The previous program-best was 94 points in a victory over Crown College on Nov. 15, 2018.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg jumped out to a quick 31-10 first quarter lead and never looked back. The Auggies shot a season-best 50.7 percent (36-of-71) from the field, and for the third consecutive game finished with double-digit three pointers (12-of-26).
• The Auggies used a balanced scoring attack highlighted by six players in double figures. Fourteen different Auggies saw action in the contest and 13 factored into the scoring.

Tamira McLemore (SR, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) andÂ
Camryn Speese (SR, Bloomington, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) led the way with 15 points apiece. McLemore tied a career-best with six steals and added three assists. Speese was 6-for-8 from the field and added a game-high eight rebounds.Â

Nicole Zielsdorf (JR, Arden Hills, Minn./St. Anthony Village HS) scored a career-high 14 points, going 5-for-7 from the floor and 4-of-6 from three-point range.
Selena Lor (SO, Winona, Minn./Winona HS) also scored a career-high 14 points in the game and converted on 5-of-10 from the field.Â
• Also finishing in double figures for the Auggies was
Aiza Wilson (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) and
Jaley Coplin (FY, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS), who finished with 14 and 10 points respectively.
• On the boards,Â
Jazmyn Solseth (JR, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./St. Croix Lutheran HS) and
Nikole Gullerud (FY, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley HS) pulled down seven boards apiece, while combining for six blocked shots.
• The Augsburg defense held St. Scholastica to 28.1 percent shooting (18-of-64) from the field and just 16.7 percent from three point range (2-of-12).Â
• The Auggies claimed a 51-35 advantage on the boards, a 44-26 advantage in points in the paint and a 51-18 advantage in bench points.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• The win marks the eighth consecutive victory for the Auggies over St. Scholastica.
• This is the second season in a row Augsburg has started the season with three straight wins.
 FOR THE FOES
• The Saints were led offensively by Kaylee Kennedy and Morgan Anderson, who finished with 11 points apiece.
• Alison Huber dished out a team-best five assists for the Saints.
