Annie Juergens (JR, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) stopped all 32 shots she faced in goal to record her seventh career shutout, as the Augsburg University women's hockey team claimed a key Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory on Friday night, a 2-0 triumph at Concordia College-Moorhead.

• Juergens recorded 32 saves in goal to pick up her third shutout of the season, improving to 7-4-4. A transfer from Hamline, she has recorded seven shutouts in her 46 career games, with a 22-15-6 career record in three seasons.

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• With the win, Augsburg maintained its advantage over Gustavus for the No. 3 spot in the five-team MIAC postseason playoffs. Both teams have 24 points with 10-3-4 conference records going into the final game of the regular season; if the teams remain tied after Saturday's play, Augsburg would clinch the No. 3 spot based on its win and tie against the Gusties on Jan. 18-19.Â
• The No. 3 seed in the playoffs would play at No. 2-seed Hamline in a semifinal game next Saturday (2/23) in St. Paul, Minn., while the No. 4 seed would host the No. 5 seed in a quarterfinal game next Thursday (2/21). Concordia currently holds a one-point advantage over Saint Mary's for the No. 5 spot in the playoffs.
• Wagner's 10 goals are tied for eighth-most
among MIAC players in overall statistics, with her team-leading 22 points (10 goals, 12 assists) also eighth-most.
• Augsburg killed off two Concordia power-play opportunities in the game. Augsburg's .918 penalty-kill percentage (67-of-73) is tops among MIAC teams and
