QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH MIKE NAVARRE
• "It was fun to finally get to play under the lights of Edor Nelson Field. The players were definitely excited -- perhaps a little too excited as we were not as patient as we needed to be initially. We talked about this at halftime, and the players did well to circulate the ball better in the second half. It was great to see the energy the players gave each other as we started getting more players involved. Hopefully we can build upon this momentum as we head up to Duluth on Sunday."
FOR THE FOES
• Leah Brewer had four saves in goal for Northwestern in the first half, with Ellie Fryer collecting two saves in relief in the second half.
• Linley Norman had two shots in the game for the Eagles.
UP NEXT
• Augsburg travels to face St. Scholastica in a rescheduled game on Sunday (9/22) at 3:30 p.m. in Duluth, Minn.
