Kraft's 8th-place finish leads Auggies at UWEC

RESULTS

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. -- Emma Kraft (SO, Hutchinson, Minn./Hutchinson HS) finished in a tie for eighth place with a two-day total of 169, leading the Augsburg University women's golf team to a sixth-place finish at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Georgianni Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Kraft continued her impressive start to her sophomore season, claiming rounds of 82 and 87 for her 36-hole total of 169, tied for the 18th-best 36-hole tournament score in program history. She finished in a tie for eighth in the 46-golfer field.
Olivia Boe (FY, Stewartville, Minn./Stewartville HS) claimed an 18-stroke improvement from her first collegiate weekend to her second, finishing in 21st place with a 182 (93-89) total.
Nicole Zielsdorf (JR, Arden Hills, Minn./St. Anthony Village HS) finished in 30th place with a 189 (95-94) total.
Lilia Lindgren (FY, Elko New Market, Minn./New Prague HS) shot 202 (97-105) and Livia Behnke (FY, Litchfield, Minn./Litchfield HS) shot 215 (113-102) to round out the Auggie lineup.
• As a team, Augsburg finished sixth in the nine-team tournament with a 739 (367-372) total.
