MINNEAPOLIS -- Behind
Emily Ach's (SR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) second collegiate hat trick, the Augsburg University women's hockey team claimed its ninth straight win in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play, a 4-1 triumph over St. Catherine University on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Ach's first goal came 2:49 into the second period, as she gained the puck in front off a backhand feed from behind the goal line by
Jeanette Bealke (SR, White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake HS). Laine Lobdell (JR, Aurora, Minn./Metea Valley HS) received the second assist on the goal.
• Her second goal came less than four minutes later, as she completed a 2-on-1 rush following a cross-slot pass byÂ
Bridget Wagner (SR, Niles, Ill./Maine South HS), with
Katie Flynn (FY, Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge HS) getting the second assist.
• Ach's hat trick was completed on the power play at the 2:33 mark of the third period. Wagner fed Flynn in front, and her initial shot was rebounded to Ach, who stuffed it home for her 10th goal of the season and fourth power-play marker.
• Lobdell scored the opening goal of the game for the Auggies, as she snapped a wrister from between the circles for her fifth goal of the season, assisted by
Brooke Leone (SO, Rochester, Minn./Mayo HS) andÂ
Nikki Nightengale (SR, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS).
• For the fifth straight game, Augsburg held a significant shots on-goal advantage, outshooting St. Catherine by a 34-17 margin.Â

Annie Juergens (SR, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) stopped 16 shots for the Auggies, improving to 5-4-0 on the season.
