MINNEAPOLIS -- Sabriya Passmore (FY, Apple Valley, Minn./Apple Valley HS) pitched her first collegiate shutout in the first game, and Anesia King (SR, Isanti, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti HS) hit two doubles and a triple in the second game, as the Augsburg University softball team scored a nonconference doubleheader sweep of Northland College on Tuesday afternoon.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
• Passmore improved to 2-2 on the season with her first collegiate shutout, striking out four against no walks and just four hits. Passmore has now struck out 10 against nine walks in 20.0 innings of work in her four pitching appearances on the season.
• Bailey Zenk (JR, Ham Lake, Minn./Blaine HS), a transfer from Anoka-Ramsey Community College, hit her first home run as an Auggie, a solo shot in the bottom of the second inning.
• Shannon Dale (SR, Watertown, Minn./Watertown-Mayer HS) and Passmore led off the third inning with singles, and both came home on a double by Mackenzie Evenson (SR, St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park HS), and Kate Stehr (SR, Goodhue, Minn./Goodhue HS) plated a run on a fielder's choice.
• King tripled and scored on a wild pitch in th fourth inning. Dale doubled and scored on an RBI triple by Passmore in the sixth.
• Dale went 4-for-4 for the Auggies in the first game, while Sarah Garcia (JR, St. Paul, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall HS) and Passmore had two hits each.

GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
• Bella Kallas (JR, Big Lake, Minn./Big Lake HS) started in the pitching circle and allowed just one hit and one walk in the first four innings, improving to 2-0 on the season. Zenk scored a three-inning save, striking out one.
• King led off the bottom of the first with a double, advanced to third on a bunt single by Garcia, and scored on a Passmore infield single.
• The Auggies scored four runs in the third inning. King hit another double and scored on a single by Garcia. A sacrifice fly by Evenson scored Garcia, and Zenk drove home Dale on an RBI double. An RBI single by Cassie Lehman (SR, Blaine, Minn./Centennial HS) brought home Zenk.
• Kayla Hanson (SO, Trimont, Minn./St. James HS) singled and came around to score on a triple by Garcia in the fourth inning. Kallas doubled, and pinch runner Sammie Balint (FY, Golden Valley, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) scored on an RBI triple by King.
• King and Garcia had three hits each for Augsburg.

FOR THE FOES
• Alivia Heller had four hits in the doubleheader for Northland, including a double, driving in a run.
• Kayla Preisler pitched 10 of the 12 innings for the Lumberjills, striking out six against two walks.
