MINNEAPOLIS -- The University of Wisconsin-River Falls women's lacrosse team scored the first seven goals of the game and never looked back, claiming a 19-6 win over host Augsburg University in a nonconference game on Tuesday afternoon at Edor Nelson Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• UW-River Falls outshot Augsburg by a 24-5 margin in the first half, building a 13-2 advantage. The Falcons eventually outshot the Auggies by a 38-19 margin in the game.

Mikayla Knudson (SR, Zimmerman, Minn./Elk River HS) scored two goals with four ground balls, three draw controls and three caused turnovers for the Auggies.

Annika Hegrenes (SR, Maplewood, Minn./Concordia Academy HS) also scored two goals, adding three draw controls, two ground balls and two caused turnovers.

• Emily Herdine scored four goals, Emma Kohlbeck and Emma Heerey each scored three goals with an assist, and Josie Johnson scored two goals with two assists.
• Grace Ross had seven saves in goals for the Falcons.
