QUOTE FROM AUGSBURG COACH MIKE NAVARRE
• "Congratulations to St. Mary's. They took advantage of a good bounce and obviously prevented us from scoring, so well done on their part. And congratulations to (SMU coach) Nick Rossi on his first MIAC win. I'm happy for Nick and wish him the best as he begins his tenure down in Winona. It was a tough week for us. We had more of the ball in our games, but ultimately were not able to finish. Despite the outcome, these spring games are really helpful for us as we try to build in a new system and style of play, and integrate our new players into the program. Each game presents an opportunity to both honor our seniors who have given our program so much, and build towards the future. We will keep forging ahead."
