QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG COACH MIKE NAVARRE
• "Great game today despite the OT loss. We were really good in the 2nd half, it's unfortunate we did not bury any of our chances, but that was the best soccer we've played this spring, which was encouraging."
• "It would take decades to unpack and try to make sense of everything that's happened in the past 14 months. I'm just grateful we seem to be through the hardest stretch and getting back to some of the norms that we have now grown to appreciate. Additionally I'm excited about how much the soccer and team spirit evolved this spring amidst all the challenges we were presented. Although we only got one scrimmage and five games in, they really helped us. We were able to start laying the foundation for the next phase of our program's development."
• "As for the players graduating: Niki, Claire, and Jucel, they each had a significant impact on our program. Beyond the MIAC championships won, they brought a spirit and compassion that helped guide us through challenging times. I have no doubt that they will go on to be successful in all facets of their lives. I thank them for the contributions to our program and look forward to cheering them on as they start new adventures."
