HOW IT HAPPENED
• With four Auggies shooting 170 or better scores, Augsburg finished 13th in the 17-school, 20-team event, with a two-day total of 658 (329-329). The 658 score is the second-best for an Augsburg women's golf squad in the history of the program, two strokes shy of the record of 656 (336-320), set at the Carleton Small College Desert Classic on March 21-22, 2005. Augsburg's 329 rounds are tied for the second-best 18-hole rounds in school history, behind the 320 set in the 2005 Carleton meet.
• Kraft continued her incredible senior season, finishing in a tie for 14th place in the 116-player meet with a score of 159, just five strokes off her school-record 36-hole score of 154, set last weekend at the UW-Eau Claire Georgianni Blugold Invitational. Her first-round 79 is tied for the eighth-best single-round score in school history, with her second-round 80 tied for the 12th-best round. Kraft currently leads the Auggies with an 80.0 stroke average.
• Elizabeth Fagerlind (FY, Kasson, Minn./Kasson-Mantorville HS) finished with her third straight tournament with a score of 170 or better, shooting a season-best 161 (80-81) to tie for 25th place. Her 161 is the sixth-best 36-hole round in school history, with her rounds of 80 and 81 tied for 12th and 19th place among all-time single-round scores in school history.
• Maren Aikens (FY, Rochester, Minn./John Marshall HS) shot a two-day total of 168 (87-81), tied for the 19th-best 36-hole score in school history, with her 81 tied for 19th in the single-round record list.
