Jen Masello (SR, Darien, Ill./Downers Grove South HS) scored her fourth career goal for Augsburg University in the 75th minute, but the Auggies could not overcome an early deficit in a 3-1 nonconference women's soccer loss to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater on Friday evening.

• Masello scored Augsburg's lone goal at the 74:32 mark, an unassisted tally, for her first goal of the season and fourth of her career.
• UW-Whitewater outshot Augsburg by a 17-8 margin in the game, including an 11-3 advantage in the second half. The Warhawks had 10 corner kicks to the Auggies' one in the game.
