MINNEAPOLIS -- The No. 5-ranked Augsburg University women's wrestling team claimed a pair of dual-meet victories over NAIA programs on Saturday, topping No. 16-ranked Iowa Wesleyan University 29-15 and the No. 13-ranked University of Jamestown 34-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Against Iowa Wesleyan, the Auggies and Tigers split the four competitive bouts, with Augsburg claiming four forfeits at the end of the match to claim the dual victory.
• Against Jamestown, Augsburg won all six competitive matches and recorded three forfeits, while also winning three of four exhibitions.
• Gabby Skidmore (JR, Spooner, Wis./Cumberland HS) claimed a pair of pins at 123 pounds to improve to 11-2 on the season. Against IWU's Zoe Smith, Skidmore rallied from a 7-0 first-period deficit with a four-point throw early in the second period, converting it into a pin in 3:56. She then scored a 37-second exhibition pin over Jamestown's Arianna Marrufo.
• Top-ranked 109-pounder Emily Shilson (JR, Maple Grove, Minn./Mounds View HS) improved to 13-0 with a pair of first-period technical falls, topping No. 11-ranked Mia Palumbo of Iowa Wesleyan in 2:03, and dispatching Jamestown's Samantha Weeks in 37 seconds. 
• Against Jamestown, No. 3-ranked 143-pounder Katie Lange (FY, Sherburn, Minn./Martin County West) used a takedown and a pair of four-point throws to claim a 10-0 technical fall in 58 seconds over Emma Mielke, improving to 18-1 on the season.
• No. 3-ranked 155-pounder Augsburg's Marlynne Deede (JR, Springville, Utah/Springville HS) improved to 15-3 on the season with a 33-second, 10-0 technical fall win over Haley Ulroan. She claimed a takedown, then converted four back exposures for the quick victory.
• No. 5-ranked 136-pounder Nina Makem (FY, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) improved to 19-4 on the season with a 14-6 decision over Jamestown's No. 10-ranked 130-pounder, Allie Baudhuin.
• Autumn Flanigan (SO, Troy, Mo./Troy Buchanan HS) built a 6-0 lead on a four-point throw and two-point back exposure in the opening minute of her 130-pound match with Jamestown's No. 11-ranked 136-pounder Luisita Jara, and held on for a 10-3 decision, improving to 11-5 on the year.
• Charlotte Kouyoumtjian (FY, Porterville, Calif./Monache HS) claimed a takedown five seconds into her 123-pound bout with Jamestown's Marissa Burt, then quickly recorded four back exposures to score a 44-second, 10-0 technical fall over Jamestown's Marissa Burt, improving her season record to 9-7.
• At 136, Sierra Brown Ton (JR, Allen, Texas/Einstein HS) split a pair of pins, scoring a first-period pin over Jamestown's Baudhuin.
