The win also snapped a nine-game losing streak at Edor Nelson Field to the Cobbers, dating to a 13-10 win on Oct. 25, 1997, during Augsburg's MIAC championship season with current Auggie head coach

• But Augsburg scored 17 unanswered points in the second half to take the lead for good. Another long drive -- eight plays, 89 yards and 3:39 -- was capped by a three-yard touchdown pass from Sheehan to
Dominic Smith (SO, White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake HS), and after

Nathan Wangensteen (FY, Chisholm, Minn./Chisholm HS) gave the Auggies a 38-29 lead with a 41-yard field goal with 6:22 left to play.
