MINNEAPOLIS – Behind a two-goal effort from
Katie Flynn (SR, Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge HS) and the third career shutout for goalie
Chloe Stockinger (JR, Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice HS), the Augsburg University women's hockey team completed its second straight shutout over St. Olaf College, a 6-0 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference triumph on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg dominated play throughout the contest, outshooting St. Olaf by a 37-28 margin. Stockinger stopped all 28 shots she faced in goal to pick up her second shutout of the season and third of her collegiate career.
• Flynn claimed her second career multi-goal game, scoring with 21 seconds left in the first period on a nice passing play from
Emily Cronkhite (SO, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) and
Carleigh Drill (SR, Madison, Wis./Madison East HS), and scoring at the 6:20 mark of the third period, on a one-timer in the slot from Cronkhite and
Kennedy Stein (JR, Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest HS). Flynn now has a team-high six goals on the year.

Jenna Gerold (SR, Farmington, Minn./Farmington HS) scored the opening goal of the game 5:50 into the first period, taking a drop pass from
Payton Allen (SR, St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville HS) and firing a wrister from the slot for her second goal of the season.
Claire Jenkins Coffman (JR, Mount Pleasant, Wis./The Prairie School) had the second assist on the goal.

Emily Schoeberl (FY, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) scored her third collegiate goal at the 5:32 mark of the second period, scoring on a rebound in front after a
Malia Schubert (JR, Mantorville, Minn./Kasson-Mantorville HS) shot went wide off the glass.
• Cronkhite completed her three-point afternoon with a goal on a difficult angle along the right side of the net at the 13:12 mark of the second period, assisted by Stein.
• Augsburg capped the scoring with a power-play goal from Jenkins Coffman, who deflected the puck on front off a shot from the right point by
Nora Stepan (FY, Apple Valley, Eastview HS) with 3:37 left in the game.
FOR THE FOES
• Hannah Fritz had 18 saves in 33 minutes in goal for St. Olaf, before being relieved by Carley Tuman, who had 13 saves in 27 minutes.
