MINNEAPOLIS –
Nick Woodward (SR, Dubuque, Iowa/Dubuque HS) and
Austin Martinsen (SR, Farmington, Minn./Farmington HS) scored goals 1:45 apart late in the third period, as their Augsburg University men's hockey team rallied for a 5-4 win over Saint Mary's University in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Trailing 4-3, Woodward tied the game on an unassisted blast from the point off a clearing attempt by a Saint Mary's player with 5:49 left in regulation time.
• The Auggies took the lead with 4:04 left, as Martinsen capped off a 3-on-2 break on a diving one-timer from
Gavin Holland (SR, Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) and
Austin Dollimer (SR, Rosemount, Minn./Rosemount HS), colliding with the crossbar as he scored his 12th goal of the season.
• The teams exchanged the first six goals of the game, before Saint Mary's took a 4-3 lead with a goal in the final minute of the second period. Augsburg jumped on the scoreboard just 66 seconds into the game, with Grant Reichenbacker (JR, Verona, Wis./Madison Edgewood HS) scored in the slot off a shot attempt by
Michael Redmon (JR, West Bloomfield, Mich./Centennial (Tenn.) HS).
Dylan Schneider (FY, Rochester, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) had the second assist on the goal.
• Holland scored his team-leading 13th goal of the season with 1:02 left in the first period, notching his fourth power-play goal of the year, driving in from the left side with a wrist shot. Martinsen and
Logan Kons (SO, Niles, Ill./Niles West HS) assisted on the goal.
• The Auggies took a 3-2 lead at the 12:40 mark of the second period, as
Jarod Blackowiak (SR, Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie HS) notched his 11th goal of the season on a shot through traffic from between the faceoff circles. Keenen Lund (JR, Sartell, Minn./Sartell HS) and Dollimer assisted on the goal.
• Augsburg outshot Saint Mary's by a 32-24 margin in the game.
Jack Robbel (JR, Bloomington, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) had 20 saves in goal, improving to 13-1-0 on the season.
