Auggie men's soccer High School ID Camp POSTPONED to Dec. 29

REGISTRATION FORM

NOTE - CAMP HAS BEEN POSTPONED FROM THURSDAY, DEC. 22 TO THURSDAY, DEC. 29 DUE TO WINTER WEATHER WARNING.

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg University men's soccer team will hold a High School ID Camp on Thursday, Dec. 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Edor Nelson Field dome.

The camp is designed for 9th-12th grade boys who are looking to be recruited by the Augsburg men's soccer coaching staff. The camp will include warm-up activities, small-sided games, and large field games so that coaching staff can observe players in multiple scenarios. Instead of relying on a single tournament game to make an impression, participants in the ID Camp can be closely evaluated by Augsburg coaches and current players. Learn about the recruiting process, life at Augsburg, and the culture of the Augsburg men's soccer program.

For more information, contact Augsburg men's soccer coach Greg Holker at 612-330-1424 or holker@augsburg.edu.

Why the One-Day Camp is the Best Way to Be Recruited
• Our camp includes warm-up activities, small-sided games, and large-field games so that the coaching staff can observe players in multiple scenarios, instead of relying on a single showcase/tournament game, when players may not be consistently involved in the action.
• Members of the current team will be at all sessions. There's no better way to find out what it's like to be an Augsburg men's soccer player and student than to speak to one living it.
• Tour the men's soccer facilities
• Q&A session about the recruiting process
• Q&A session with coaches, current team members
• Be evaluated in a more intimate environment. Registration cuts off at 36 field players and four goalkeepers (40 total) for each camp, so that coaches can effectively evaluate players who attend.

Are you an Auggie?
One of the main reasons to attend a camp is for prospects to evaluate the program for themselves:
• Is this a college you can see yourself attending for four years even if soccer weren't in the mix?
• Is the soccer program a good fit for you after learning about it through current players and coaches?
• Do you like the coaching style?
• Do you like the culture of the team?

What to Bring
• Soccer ball
• Cleats/turfs
• Shin guards
• Water bottle
