2021-22 UNITED SOCCER COACHES TEAM ACADEMIC AWARDS

MINNEAPOLIS -- For the 11th time in the last 14 years, both the Augsburg University men's and women's soccer teams have earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, with the 2021-22 Auggie women recording a team grade-point average of 3.52 and the 2021-22 Auggie men recording a team GPA of 3.24.

It marks the 14th time since 2006 that Augsburg's men's soccer team has earned United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award honors, while it's the 13th straight year that Augsburg's women's soccer team has earned the award.

There were a total of 746 programs in all divisions of NCAA and NAIA college soccer (220 men, 382 women) to earn United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award honors with team GPAs of 3.00 or higher for the 2021-22 academic year, with 130 colleges and universities having both their men's and women's teams honored.
