EAU CLAIRE, Wis. –
Emily Cronkhite (SO, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) and
Kennedy Stein (JR, Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest HS) scored goals for Augsburg University, as the Auggies extended their unbeaten streak to eight straight games with a 2-2 overtime draw at the No. 8-ranked University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in a nonconference women's hockey game on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg took leads with goals in the first and second periods, but each goal was matched quickly by a UW-Eau Claire tally.
• Cronkhite scored her team-leading 10th goal of the season five minutes into the game, gaining the puck on the Auggie halfwall, then flipping it forward for a breakaway sprint to the net, where she deposited the puck to the top corner.
• Stein gave the Auggies a 2-1 lead with a goal at the 13:22 mark of the second period, scoring on a rebound in the slot off a shot from the left side by
Katie Flynn (SR, Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge HS). Cronkhite was credited with the second assist on Stein's goal.
• The game officially ended as a 2-2 overtime tie, but UW-Eau Claire claimed a 1-0 shootout win, scoring on its first attempt. Augsburg missed all three of its shootout attempts.
• UW-Eau Claire outshot Augsburg by a 31-26 margin.
Chloe Stockinger (JR, Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice HS) had 29 saves in goal for the Auggies.
