SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Augsburg University women's wrestling team dropped a pair of dual meets in a triangular meet at the University of Sioux Falls on Sunday afternoon, falling 24-13 to Morningside University and 38-10 to the host Cougars.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg, ranked No. 17 in the latest NWCA women's national rankings for NCAA teams, scored two victories on the mat and one by forfeit in the dual against Morningside, and had a win on the mat and a win by forfeit against Sioux Falls.
• Nina Makem (JR, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS), ranked No. 5 nationally at 155 pounds, claimed a 10-0, 1:03 technical fall in her bout against Markael Zeleny of Morningside, then scored a 16-second pin of Brinley Green of Sioux Falls, her fourth pin of under 60 seconds this season and 10th sub-60-second pin of her career. The 16-second pin tied the fastest pin of her career. Makem is now 66-13 in her collegiate career, with 15 pins and 37 technical falls among her career wins.
• Melissa Jacobs (SR, Belle Plaine, Minn./Belle Plaine HS) went 1-1 on the day, scoring a 5-2 victory over Morningside's Nevaeh Hast, her fourth victory of the season.

FOR THE FOES
• Morningside claimed wins in four bouts in the dual with the Auggies, with two pins and two technical falls. The Mustangs also recorded one forfeit victory.
• Host Sioux Falls scored wins in five bouts, with three pins and two technical falls, and gained three wins by forfeit.
