MINNEAPOLIS -- Behind goalie
Samuel Vyletelka's (SO, Zilina, Slovakia/Grammar School of St. Francis of Assisi) school-record seventh career shutout, the Augsburg University men's hockey team completed a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference series sweep of Concordia College-Moorhead with a 1-0 triumph on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Vyletelka stopped all 34 shots he faced in goal -- his fifth game this season with 30-plus saves -- to claim his second shutout win of the season and seventh of his college career, breaking the old school record of six career shutouts, held by four players. He improved to 9-4-1 on the year with the victory.

Jarod Blackowiak (SR, Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie HS) scored the lone goal of the game at the 12:41 mark of the second period, driving straight ahead after his faceoff win in the Concordia zone and firing a shot for his seventh goal of the season and his fourth goal in his last three games.
• Augsburg was outshot by a 34-24 margin, snapping a seven-game streak of outshooting its opponents. It's just the fourth time this season that Augsburg has been outshot by an opponent.

Dylan Schneider (SO, Rochester, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) had five shots on-goal for the Auggies, while Blackowiak had three shots.
