WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Olivia Hennager (FY, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley HS) went 4-for-6 on the day with a double, leading the Augsburg University softball team in a split of a pair of games on its last day at The Spring Games in central Florida on Thursday, falling 11-2 to Wisconsin Lutheran College and topping Knox College 3-2.

WISCONSIN LUTHERAN 11, AUGSBURG 2
• All the runs in the game for both teams were scored in the final two innings, as Wisconsin Lutheran scored three runs in the top of the sixth and eight runs in the seventh, sending 13 batters to the plate.
• Olivia Dynneson (JR, Minneapolis, Minn./South HS) hit a solo home run in the sixth inning, and Avery Bowers (FY, Elko, Nev./Elko HS) hit a sacrifice fly to plate Morgan Benson (SO, Circle Pines, Minn./Centennial HS) in the seventh inning for the Auggies.
• Dynneson and Jayden Evenson (FY, Mosinee, Wis./Mosinee HS) had two hits each for the Auggies in the game.
• Brynn Hostettler (SO, Northfield, Minn./Northfield HS) pitched five innings of shutout softball, allowing just one hit and four walks, while striking out eight.

AUGSBURG 3, KNOX 2
• Olivia O'Connor (JR, White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake HS) pitched a complete-game victory for the Auggies, striking out seven against just one walk and five hits to improve to 4-1 on the season.
• In the first inning, Hennager hit an RBI single to drive home leadoff hitter Torrie Rehder (SO, Goodhue, Minn./Goodhue HS) hit a double for the Auggies., and later was part of a double steal, as Hennager stole second and Evenson stole home -- her second stolen base of the inning.
• Augsburg went ahead in the fourth inning, as Jaime Olson (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./South HS) singled and came around to score on an RBI double by Kayla Hanson (SR, St. James, Minn./St. James HS).
• Hennager went 3-for-3 in the game for the Auggies.

FOR THE FOES
• Taylor Peterson went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored, and Olivia Kries had a double and drove in three runs for Wisconsin Lutheran.
• Mimi Schweitzer struck out four against no walks and eight hits for Knox in the second game of the day.

UP NEXT
• Augsburg, which went 6-4 in its 10 games in Florida, returns to Minnesota next Wednesday (3/22) at 3:30 p.m., hosting Northland (Wis.) in a doubleheader at the Edor Nelson Field dome.
