TOURNAMENT RESULTS
NORTHFIELD, Minn. --
Elizabeth Fagerlind (SO, Kasson, Minn./Kasson-Mantorville HS) and
Avery Sawchuk (JR, Burnsville, Minn./Burnsville HS) each finished in the top 40 as individuals, as the Augsburg University women's golf team wrapped up its 2022-23 season at the St. Olaf-Carleton Spring Invitational on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Fagerlind shot a 90 to tie for 35th in the 64-player tournament, while Sawchuk shot a 91 to tie for 38th.
•
Maren Aikens (SO, Rochester, Minn./John Marshall HS) and
Claire Jenkins Coffman (JR, Mount Pleasant, Wis./The Prairie School) each shot 107 totals to tie for 59th place.
• The tournament was shortened to a one-day, 18-hole event on Saturday due to weather concerns for Sunday's final round.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• Augsburg finished its 2022-23 season with a 369.2 team stroke average, the seventh-best team average in school history.
• Sawchuk finished with an 83.2 stroke average, the second-best single-season scoring average in school history, while Fagerlind's 85.2 stroke average is fifth-best.
• Sawchuk and Fagerlind now have the two-best career stroke averages in program history -- Sawchuk at 83.84, and Fagerlind at 85.10.
Emma Kraft (2018-22) is now third in school history with an 85.29 average.
