MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg University student-athletes earned 86 academic all-conference honors for their success in both the classroom and on the playing fields during the winter and spring portions of the 2022-23 school year. 

A total of 81 Auggie student-athletes earned the 86 academic all-conference honors (five student-athletes earned honors in multiple sports) -- 74 honors from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and 12 women's lacrosse players from the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference.

For Academic All-MIAC recognition, student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior, or senior (transfers must have spent a full year at their current school) with a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale. Student-athletes from the 13 MIAC schools earned 1,334 Academic All-MIAC honors from winter and spring sports, bringing the total to a record 2,116 honors for the 2022-23 school year.

Combined with 40 Academic All-MIAC honorees from fall sports, a total of 118 Augsburg student-athletes earned 126 academic all-conference honors (eight student-athletes earned honors in two sports) in the 2022-23 school year.

To be named a member of the MWLC All-Academic Team, women's lacrosse recipients must carry a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 for the 2022-23 academic year. No academic class or athletic participation rules are in place for the MWLC All-Academic Team award.
