Tyrone Wilson (JR, Ellendale, Minn./New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva HS) caught a touchdown pass and rushed for two more, as the Augsburg University football team ended its 2024 campaign with a 41-26 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference loss at St. Olaf College on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Wilson caught a four-yard touchdown pass from quarterback
Caden Rodkewich (SO, New Brighton, Minn./St. Anthony Village HS) in the first quarter, then rushed for touchdowns of one yard and 15 yards out of "Wildcat" formations later in the game. Wilson caught eight passes for 66 yards and rushed 13 times for 59 yards in the game. He also completed 2-of-3 passes for 24 yards.Lam
• Augsburg played the game somewhat shorthanded, thanks to injuries to several key players, including the top two quarterbacks on the depth chart. Rodkewich, making his first career start at quarterback, completed 19-of-35 passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns, but was intercepted three times.
• St. Olaf outgained Augsburg by a 396-to-365 margin. The Oles rushed ror 238 yards and threw for 158 yards, while the Auggies rushed for 155 yards and threw for 210 yards in the game.

Lamar Webb Jr. (JR, Milwaukee, Wis./Rufus King HS) rushed 12 times for 60 yards, and
Ben Davis (SO, New Brighton, Minn./Fridley HS) caught six passes for 60 yards and a 29-yard touchdown pass from Rodkewich in the fourth quarter.

Rio Starr (JR, Minneapolis, Minn./South HS) led the Auggie defense with 11 tackles (nine solo), while
London Campbell (FY, Mankato, Minn./Mankato West HS) had nine tackles (nine solo).
FOR THE FOES
• Bryon Sauvy rushed 32 times for 196 yards and two touchdowns to lead St. Olaf. Theo Doran completed 5-of-12 passes for 158 yards, while also rushing for two touchdowns.
• Tate Sauerwein had 17 tackles (12 solo) and a quarterback sack for the Oles.
