MINNEAPOLIS – Leading from start to finish, the University of Wisconsin-Stout claimed an 80-43 nonconference women's basketball victory over Augsburg University on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• UW-Stout, ranked No. 13 in the latest D3hoops.com and No. 16 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division III national polls, never trailed in the game, taking a 32-18 halftime lead and pulling away to lead by as many as 38 points down the stretch.
• The Blue Devils connected on 42.6 percent (29-of-68) shooting from the field, compared to 32.7 percent (16-of-49) for the Auggies. UW-Stout also forced 24 Augsburg turnovers, converting them into 31 points, compared to four Auggie points off of six UW-Stout turnovers.

Saylor Gallagher (SO, Mounds View, Minn./Irondale HS) led the way for the Auggies, scoring 11 points with eight rebounds.

Wakinyela Bear (JR, Morrison, Colo./Meskwaki (Iowa) HS) scored seven points with five rebounds, and
Maecee Alexander (SO, St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park HS) scored six points.
Emma Kanz (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Maple Grove HS) had five rebounds to go along with four points.
FOR THE FOES
• UW-Stout was led by Julia Rybacki, who scored 19 points. Rosella Wille scored 12 points with five assists.
• Anna Mutch scored 15 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for the Blue Devils.
