MINNEAPOLIS -- Mizael Harris (JR, Happy Valley, Ore./La Salle Catholic College Prep HS) scored the game-winning goal with 4:19 left in the second overtime, sending the Augsburg University men's soccer team to the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference postseason playoff semifinals with a 1-0 quarterfinal triumph over Macalester College on Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The game-winner came in the 106th minute. Remus Repcak (SO, Tualatin, Ore./Tualatin HS) sent the ball from the right edge of the 18 yard box through a teammate's legs to Joseph Swallen (SO, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) at the top of the box, who slammed a shot that was saved by the Macalester goalkeeper. Harris pounced on the rebound and sent a right-footed shot to the top right corner of the net for his seventh goal of the season.
• The two teams played three days before, as Augsburg claimed a 2-1, come-from-behind win, and Monday's rematch proved to be another thriller from start to finish. The teams battled for possession throughout, as the Auggies held a narrow 52-to-48-percent possession advantage, and outshot the Scots by a 14-12 margin. However, Augsburg's defense protected the back third well, as the Scots managed just one shot on-goal in the game. Auggie defenders Jakob Mohrlok (SR, Stuttgart, Germany/Schonbuch Gymnasium), Jeffrey Richter (JR, Portland, Ore./La Salle Catholic College Prep HS) and Zachariah Sherian (SO, Blaine, Minn./Blaine HS) played the full 106 minutes for the Auggies.
• Harris, who played 101 minutes, had four shots in the game, including three on-target, while Swallen had three shots in 102 minutes.
• Augsburg goalkeeper Frankie Pinto (FY, Chicago, Ill./Maine South HS) had to make just one save in the first half to record his fourth shutout of the season.
