Augsburg men's soccer to host NCAA 1st/2nd round games

MINNEAPOLIS -- For the fourth time in school history, the Augsburg University men's soccer team will be competing in the NCAA Division III National Tournament, and for the first time ever, the Auggies will play host to first- and second-round games at Edor Nelson Field.

Augsburg (16-2-2 overall) received one of 21 at-large bids in the 64-team NCAA Division III tournament field, and will host Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion Occidental College (Calif., 10-5-4) on Saturday (11/15) at 11 a.m. (Central) at Edor Nelson Field. At-large selections Gustavus Adolphus College (14-5-1) and Edgewood College (Wis., 15-2-2) will meet in Saturday's other first-round game at Edor Nelson Field at 1:30 p.m. (Central). The winners of the two first-round games will meet in a second-round matchup on Sunday (11/16) at 1 p.m. (Central) at Edor Nelson Field.
