MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg University men's hockey team rallied from a 2-0 deficit to force overtime, but Gustavus Adolphus College scored the game-winning goal with 39 seconds left in the extra session, taking a 4-3 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg scored a pair of power-play goals in a 2:40 span late in the second period to tie the game at 2-2, then after Gustavus took the lead back on a goal in the third period, the Auggies tied the game again on an extra-attacker goal with 36 seconds left in regulation, with
Peyton Hanson (SR, Hudson, Wis./Hudson HS) scoring from
Nolan Nenow (FY, Jamestown, N.D./Jamestown HS). But in the 3-on-3 overtime, the Gusties scored with 39 seconds left.

Conner Schneider (SO, Sun Prairie, Wis./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) put the Auggies on the board at the 15:12 mark of the second period, scoring a power-play goal from Hanson and
Zachary Reim (SO, Shoreview, Minn./Gentry Academy HS).
• Nenow tied the game 2:40 later, scoring with two seconds remaining on a 5-on-3 power play, assisted by Schneider and Hanson.

Carsen Stokes (JR, Prior Lake, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) recording four saves in 15:30 of relief.
