NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- Outscoring the hosts by a 58-31 margin in the second half, the Augsburg University men's basketball team rallied from a three-point halftime deficit to claim a 101-77 victory over St. Olaf College in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest on Monday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Trailing 48-43 15 seconds into the second half, Augsburg went on a 19-2 run over a four-minute span to take a 62-50 lead with 15:19 left.
Hanif Muhammad (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./Breck HS) scored nine points in the run. A 15-2 run later in the half gave the Auggies a 21-point lead with 11:26 left to play, an advantage expanded to 26 points down the stretch.
• Five Auggies scored in double figures, led by Muhammad, who scored 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field, adding three steals and two assists.

JJ Semanko (FY, New Hope, Minn./Hopkins HS) recorded his third straight double-double, scoring 15 points with 14 rebounds, five assists, a steal and two blocked shots.

Isaac Rabaey (SR, Hastings, Minn./Hastings HS) scored 15 points with five rebounds,
Elias Batala (JR, Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview HS) scored 13 points, and
Daveion Hart (FY, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Hopkins HS) scored 11 points.
• As a team, Augsburg connected on 59.2 percent shooting from the field (42-of-71), hitting 65.7 percent (23-of-35) in the second half. The Auggies also hit 57.1 percent (12-of-21) from three-point range. Augsburg outrebounded St. Olaf by a 42-31 margin, and held a 58-36 advantage in points in the paint.

• St. Olaf's Kobe Kirk led all scorers with 26 points.
• Max Kraay scored 14 points with five rebounds and two blocked shots.
