NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- Outshot by a 36-28 margin, the Augsburg University men's hockey team were topped 4-1 in a a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest on Saturday evening at St. Olaf College.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Michael Ferrandino (SR, Lisle, Ill./Waterloo West (Iowa) HS) scored the lone goal of the game for Augsburg at the 14:16 mark of the first period, finishing up a breakout up the ice with a slicing shot from the right half-wall, assisted by
Jake Hale (JR, Minneapolis, Minn./Apex Virtual School) and
Peyton Hanson (JR, Hudson, Wis./Hudson HS). The goal was Ferrandino's fifth of the season and second of the weekend series with the Oles.

Landon Parker (SO, East Grand Forks, Minn./East Grand Forks HS) had six shots on-goal for the Auggies, while
Daniel Chladek (SR, Anaheim, Calif./Canyon HS) had five shots. Hanson had four shots.
