MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg University women's basketball team closed its 2024-25 season with a 65-50 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference loss to the College of St. Scholastica on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• St. Scholastica took advantage of 21 Augsburg turnovers in the game, scoring 23 points, compared to 10 Augsburg points off of 14 Saints turnovers. The Saints outrebounded the Auggies by a 37-32 margin in the game.
• Amira LaDuke (JR, Cass Lake, Minn./Cass Lake-Bena HS) scored 18 points with two steals, a blocked shot and three rebounds to lead the Auggies.
• Lani Fonoti (FY, Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet HS) scored seven points with seven rebounds, and Wakinyela Bear (JR, Morrison, Colo./Meskwaki (Iowa) HS) scored seven points.
• Playing in her final collegiate game, Katie Manecke (SR, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) scored six points. Evelyn Perkins (FY, Oakdale, Minn./Hill-Murray HS) scored five points.

FOR THE FOES
• Kloey Lind scored 16 points with five rebounds, two assists, two steals and a blocked shot to lead St. Scholastica.
• Hope Carlson scored 11 points with three rebounds.
