ST. PAUL, Minn. – Scoring four goals in the opening 9:02 of play, the Augsburg University women's hockey team extended its winning streak to 11 straight games with a 4-2 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory over St. Catherine University on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg jumped on the scoreboard early, with two power-play goals and two even-strength goals in the opening 9:02 of the first period. Augsburg outshot St. Catherine by a 17-3 margin in the opening frame, en route to a 36-14 shots on-goal advantage.

Molly Grundhoffer (SO, Cleveland, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) claimed her second multi-goal game of the season, scoring an even-strength goal at the 3:06 of the first period and a power-play goal six minutes later.

Ella Olson (SO, Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS) scored the opening goal of the game, a power-play marker 1:48 into play, and added an assist for a two-point night.

Aunna Schulte (FY, Bolingbrook, Ill./Plainfield East HS) scored her second goal of the weekend at the 6:26 mark of the first period.

Emily Cronkhite (SR, Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) had two assists for the Auggies, with
Livia Brehm (JR, Detroit Lakes, Minn./Stillwater HS),
Nora Stepan (JR, Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview HS) and
Grace Bonnell (SO, Madison, Wis./Memorial HS) also adding assists.

Kayla Simonson (FY, Delano, Minn./Delano HS) improved to 10-2-0 on the season in goal, collecting 12 saves.
FOR THE FOES
• Aubree McDonagh had a goal and assist for St. Catherine, with Samantha Bogen scoring the other Wildcat goal.
• Addie Oettinger had 32 saves in goal for the Wildcats.
