MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg University women's lacrosse team suffered a 24-0 shutout loss to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest on Wednesday at Edor Nelson Field.

• UW-La Crosse outshot Augsburg by a 44-3 margin in the game, including a 28-0 advantage in the first half, as it built a 17-0 halftime advantage. The Eagles had 23 draw controls to Augsburg's four, and forced 20 Augsburg turnovers to their own 11.
