MINNEAPOLIS --
Zoie Johnson (SR, Carlton, Minn./Esko HS) had four hits in six at-bats in the doubleheader, leading the Augsburg University softball team in its season-ending Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference losses at Hamline University on Saturday afternoon.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
• The Auggies took an early lead, but Hamline scored 10 runs in the final three innings to end the first game in the sixth inning via the NCAA eight-run rule.
• Augsburg scored a pair of runs in the first inning.
Jayden Evenson (JR, Mosinee, Wis./Mosinee HS) reached base on a one-out walk and came around to score on an RBI double by
Lola Pilon (SO, Farmington, Minn./Mounds Park Academy HS), and
Morgann Paaske (SR, Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake Central HS) scored on a Johnson RBI single.
• Augsburg took a 3-1 lead in the fourth inning, with
Grace Syson (SR, Oshkosh, Wis./Lourdes Academy HS) singled and eventually scored on a
Torrie Rehder (SR, Goodhue, Minn./Goodhue HS) RBI single.
• Johnson was 3-for-3 in the game, while Pilon went 2-for-3.
• Paaske pitched her 19th complete game in her 23rd start, striking out one against one walk in 5.2 innings.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
• Hamline scored two runs in the first inning, and added an insurance run in the sixth to secure the doubleheader sweep.
• Augsburg scored its lone run in the top of the second, as Johnson hit a one-out double, moved to third on a single, and scored on a fielder's choice by
Olivia Hennager (SR, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley HS). The Auggies had the tying run on base with two outs, but could not get the runners home.

Olivia Funk (SR, Lewiston, Minn./Lewiston-Altura HS) went 2-for-3 for the Auggies in the second game, and also pitched a complete-game effort, striking out one against two walks and five hits.
FOR THE FOES
• Gabby Tuhy went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI for Hamline in the first game.
• Savannah Johnson went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored in the second game.

• The games marked the final collegiate contests for six Auggie seniors -- Funk, Hennager, Johnson, Paaske, Rehder and Syson.
