MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg University student-athletes earned 74 Academic All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors for their success in both the classroom and on the playing fields during the winter and spring 2025-26 sports seasons, it was announced by the conference office. A total of 70 student-athletes earned the Academic All-MIAC winter-spring accolades, with four Auggies earning the honor in multiple sports.
Combined with the
43 honors earned by Auggie fall sports student-athletes, Augsburg athletes earned 117 Academic All-MIAC honors in the 2025-26 school year. A total of 107 student-athletes were honored, with 10 earning the award in multiple sports.
For Academic All-MIAC recognition, student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior, or senior (transfers must have spent a full year at their current school) with a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale. Student-athletes from the 13 MIAC schools earned 1,461 Academic All-MIAC honors from fall sports, giving the conference a record 2,319 Academic All-MIAC honorees from the 2025-26 school year, breaking the old mark of 2,288 set in 2024-25. It's the fifth straight school year of more than 2,000 Academic All-MIAC honorees.
