Previous College: Freshman and Sophmre Year At Ridgewater Community College ... Play Football Two Years And Completed All My Generals There before transfering to Augsburg last year.

My Biggest Thrill in Athletics: The ability to be with your teammates and to run out of that locker room on day with my brothers.
Special Facts: My ability to always keep a smile and a positive mind. Everyone calls me Sunshine as a nickname and to live up to that name requires a smile each and every day. 
Little Known Facts: I have not always had long hair. I started to grow out my high during my senior year of high school (2012) but everyone thinks I have had long hair ever since I was young. Plus having 4 sisters helps with any hair questions! 
Unusual Facts: If I am not in the weight room or on the football field, I will be found with my family and friends laughing the night away. I make the most of every day and night!
Personal Tidbit: I grew up being the oldest of 7 in a small town where a name is important. I worked for my playing time on the field and never begged. I worked hard to make a varsity spot as a young sophmore (special teams) and then a varsity starter by early junior year. I left for Ridgewater after my senior year to see what I really wanted to do as a career. I started for two years at Ridgewater for football and completed my AA degree while being there. Once I transfered to Augsburg, I started one game until I dislocated my shoulder and tore my labrum and rotator cuff--resulting in a season endng surgery and getting a year back on my eligibility. I will be a senior with two years left of football and I plan on spacing out the rest of my credits/student teaching so I can complete these next two years. I have worked hard all my life and plan on never stopping. I was challenged in the off season but with the great training staff and rehab specialist, I have worked to get my shoulder back to full strength and will be looking to get back a starting spot at Defensive End.
