Auggie Athlete FAQs
Career Goal? To successfully impact the world by helping all age groups be healthier and happier.
Why did I choose to attend Augsburg? I chose Augsburg because it is where God placed me to achieve the best version of myself on and off the mat. I feel that Augsburg University is the best place to make a new tradition... of making history for a Women's Wrestling program.
Athletic Goal at Augsburg? To win individual and team nationals.
Biggest Thrill in Athletics? Making progress, creating positive patterns and persevering through trials mentally, physically and spiritually.
What differentiates you from teammates or other students? My ability to handle stress, maintain optimism through challenging situations, vulnerability which allows me to take a set back/loss/failure and turn it into a learning opportunity and my love of the fight.
What is a little known fact about yourself? After my freshman year of cross country at Cumberland high school, I was labeled "beaver to watch"... I've been trying to live it down ever since.
List any interesting, non-athletic hobbies, talents or unusual facts about yourself? I enjoy pizza and coffee (not at the same time).
What are you most thankful for? I am enough in Christ. All earthly things can and will be taken away any day. I am one day closer to the end of my wrestling career each time I go to bed. I am one day closer to college being over. I am one day closer to being irrelevant. But that is all okay because I have one thing that lasts for eternity and it is my salvation.
Any other personal tidbits? I am the youngest to two older brothers.
